1.A small source-checked October shortlist
| Event | Date and time listed | Venue / next step |
|---|---|---|
| Queen Creek Family Market | October 10 and 24; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | 22301 S. Ellsworth Loop; operator calendar |
| Neighborhood trunk or treat, Hastings Farms 2nd Ward | October 27; 7 to 9 p.m. | 20637 E. San Tan Blvd.; organizer RSVP |
| Horseshoe Harvest Hangout | October 30 and 31; use the activity schedule | Horseshoe Park, 20464 E. Riggs Rd.; operator tickets |
The Family Market calendar identifies its October location separately from the regular farm venue. The neighborhood organizer lists a free gathering, welcomes everyone and provides RSVP instructions. Horseshoe Harvest Hangout lists festival activities with separate rodeo and concert tickets and parking information.
The Family Market’s dated October entries use 22301 S. Ellsworth Loop, while its November-April season heading names Schnepf Farms. The current next-market panel lists free admission and parking for October 10. Use the date-specific venue when a general season heading differs.
Check an imported calendar entry before saving it. In the October 8 check, the Add to Calendar button beneath the October 10 market panel linked to a November 14 calendar entry at Schnepf Farms. Enter or correct the date, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. time and Ellsworth Loop venue from the dated October listing; do not let the calendar shortcut choose the outing.
This is a deliberately small, verified shortlist, not a claim to list every event in the area. Open each dated organizer record before you make travel or purchase decisions. If a page changes after this check, use the new operator instruction.

2.Separate the festival grounds from the arena ticket
The Town record and operator identify October 30-31 at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road. The operator lists free festival-ground admission, separate paid arena shows and $20 daily parking. All three are separate parts of a visit budget, checked October 8.
| Activity | Time listed | Admission / planning distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Friday festival, October 30 | 4 p.m. to midnight | Free grounds; parking and purchases separate |
| Saturday festival, October 31 | Noon to 10 p.m. | Free grounds; individual activities can finish earlier |
| Arena rodeo, both nights | Arena gates 5 p.m.; rodeo 7 p.m. | Choose the paid Arena 1 ticket for the correct date |
| Friday arena concert | Approximately 9 p.m., after the rodeo | Approximate start, not a separate arrival guarantee |
| Saturday trunk or treat | 3-6 p.m.; Arenas 2 and 4 | Free activity; vehicle parking remains separate |
The festival schedule and main-arena schedule distinguish the wider event hours from individual activities. For example, the festival page ends bounce-house and petting-zoo hours at 8 p.m. both days. Confirm the specific activity that matters to your group rather than assuming it runs until the overall closing time. Times above are those listed by local organizers; check the date and time zone when adding them to your calendar.
Build a group budget using the product you intend to attend. If the purpose is the arena show, opening the festival page is only the first step: choose the correct day and ticket category through the operator’s linked ticket partner. If the purpose is the general festival, confirm what activities are included and whether any add-on is required.
The operator FAQ says parking is paid onsite by card, with no offsite parking available; it warns that roadside and neighboring-property parking will be towed. Its arena page places general parking northwest of the facility and ADA parking near the entrance on the south. Use the current operator map for your arrival; the historical hero photograph is not an entrance or parking map.
For wheelchair seating, the FAQ describes limited arena spaces allocated first come, first served; it does not guarantee a space or seats together for a group. Contact the organizer about your specific needs. The FAQ also lists tickets as non-refundable and non-transferable; read the terms for your selected purchase before paying.
Save the parking and entry instructions with the receipt, and verify arrival and performance times on the current activity schedule. We do not assign one general opening time to all festival activities or promise that a ticket category is still available.
The September 15, 2023 aerial shows the permanent arena complex at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, a venue in this shortlist. It shows surrounding land as well; the landscaped property beside the park is not identified here as a public amenity. For the 2026 festival’s entry route, parking areas and accessible facilities, use Horseshoe Harvest’s current operator map and event information. The historical photograph does not establish an entrance or parking assignment for your visit.
3.Use calendars for discovery, operators for confirmation
| Calendar or source | Useful for | Final confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Town of Queen Creek calendar | Municipal and park-hosted listings | The individual event record and named operator |
| MCLD Queen Creek event search | Library programs | Branch, age range and registration requirement |
| Queen Creek Chamber calendar | Community discovery | Actual venue and the organizer’s current listing |
| Farm and Mill operator calendars | Business-hosted seasonal activities | The exact date, product and admission |
The MCLD event search can be filtered to the Queen Creek branch. Use the program’s own listing for registration and age requirements. The Chamber calendar is useful for finding possibilities, but verify descriptions against the organizer if dates or details conflict.
Some regional discovery pages show Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler or Scottsdale events under a Queen Creek heading. Read the venue address rather than assuming that every result is local. A broader day trip can be a good choice when you intend it; the problem is accidentally planning one from a misleading city label.
4.Make an event card before booking
- Record the event title, organizer, chosen day and exact street address.
- Identify whether the purchase is general admission, a specific show, a reservation or an optional add-on.
- Check parking, entry instructions, age or guest rules, accessibility arrangements and any required registration.
- Read the cancellation or weather terms before paying, and save the current version.
- Reopen the operator page before travel for changes and share the confirmed meeting plan with your group.
For children, visitors or a mixed-ability group, confirm the essential activity first. If a ride, performance or accessible route is the whole reason for attending, ask about that specific feature rather than a broad family-friendly or accessible label. Build a backup outing that works if the operator changes the schedule.
5.Use the page after October without treating old dates as current
The dated table above is an October 2026 snapshot. Once an event has passed, it is historical information. Use the linked calendars to select the next event and verify its own listing. A recurring festival name does not establish the date, admission or venue for another year.
For a repeatable weekend plan, keep the parks guide, Olive Mill guide and library guide alongside the dated calendar. Those alternatives let you choose an outing without assuming a festival runs every weekend.
